North Avenue Needs a Weedeater

Here’s another great reason to attend our association meetings — we talk about the “bad” and then resolve to do something good! You probably noticed it this summer while strolling along North Avenue. Bobby Pantuso noticed it. He came to a recent TETNA meeting and discussed the abundant crop of weeds and grass overtaking North Avenue’s sidewalks in recent years. Along with the help of other neighborhood associations and the city, he suggested the possibility of a spring “weed-out” along North Avenue from 76th Street to 60th Street. Alderman Michael Walsh agreed to assist in this endeavor. If you are interested in volunteering contact Bobby Pantuso or Sarah Hunt-Frank.
